You may find yourself questioning your needs, struggling to trust your instincts, or feeling disconnected from your emotions and from yourself. Perhaps you understand where some of your patterns come from, but still find it difficult to create meaningful change. Therapy can offer an opportunity to slow down, explore what is beneath the surface, and develop a deeper connection with yourself.
My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, and I believe therapy should unfold at a pace that feels right for you. I draw from attachment-based, somatic-informed, parts work (IFS), and emotion-focused approaches to explore how past experiences can continue to shape the present.
I am particularly interested in working with individuals navigating (complex) trauma, attachment and relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem. I also value a non-pathologizing approach that recognizes the influence of culture, family, history and our broader social contexts.
I am currently completing my Master’s in Counselling Psychology at the University of Ottawa and I offer individual therapy in French and English under the license and supervision of Nisha Mohan, RP.
I offer low-cost and pro bono sessions in person at the Integrative Healing Psychotherapy clinic (Centretown, Ottawa) and virtually across Ontario from the comfort of your home.
If this approach resonates with you, I welcome you to book a free 30-minute consultation to explore whether we may be a good fit.
