I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and graduate student in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. Originally from Zimbabwe, my lived experiences inform a culturally responsive and trauma-informed perspective in the work I do with clients. I am passionate about supporting individuals through challenges related to identity, self-esteem, belonging, and emotional wellness.
I strive to foster a warm, supportive environment where clients can feel genuinely seen, valued, and understood. My therapeutic style is integrative and collaborative, incorporating approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solutions-Focused Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). With these approaches, I am committed to helping clients build resilience, gain insight, and move toward meaningful personal growth.
