As a student therapist completing my practicum at One Peace Therapy, I am committed to creating a space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. I use a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and integrative approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness, and strength-based strategies. My practice is particularly attuned to working with youth, couples, newcomers, and individuals navigating complex family or cultural expectations.
At the heart of my work is a spiritual lens that views every person as carrying a “precious stone” within—a unique strength that, once nurtured, allows the darker parts of life to feel lighter. I collaborate with clients to explore the depths of their emotions and thoughts, and together we re-create new patterns of action that feel genuine to their unique selves. I have witnessed many couples rediscover and recreate their journey of mutual life, finding their way back to one another with greater understanding and connection.
