Get to know Rob

Hey! I’m Rob, and I will be starting my practicum and accepting clients as a student counsellor beginning in September 2026. As I begin the next steps of my education and development as a helper, my intention is to create a warm, inviting and safe space for you to express the issues and concerns that brought you to seek counselling. Taking a client-centred approach, I believe we know ourselves best and as such, my job will be to witness what is pressing for you during our sessions with empathy and compassion.

Together, we can explore what feels right for you and collaborate on the ways in which better calm, stability, hope and peace of mind can be found. My training to date has given me practice with modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Solutions-Focused Therapy, which can provide useful tools to help us on our journey.

My aim is to build a genuine rapport, a human-to-human connection without judgment, only a desire to help you feel heard, understood, and supported as we work together toward the changes that matter most to you. I look forward to meeting you and learning how I can best support you on your counselling journey!
