Hello, I’m Rachelle! Thank you for visiting my profile. I know searching for a therapist can be daunting, but it’s all about finding the right fit and someone you’re aligned with. Before training to be a therapist, I worked as an artist, and I’ve always connected with people who identify as being an outsider. If that sounds like you, here’s a bit of info about me. And if you’d like to learn more, let’s schedule a free 30-minute consultation.
I practice from a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and intersectional feminist perspective that is sex-positive and 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusive. I have experience with non-monogamy and non-traditional relationship structures, friendship dynamics, and blended family systems. I’m deeply invested in relationships of all kinds and in the healing that can happen when we feel safe and connected.
My approach is relational and psychodynamic, which means we work collaboratively to develop a deeper understanding of who you are and how you operate by looking at your past and current experiences. This could include exploring the roles you often fall into, identifying patterns, and learning more about how you relate to yourself and others. I also incorporate parts work, attachment theory, and somatic practices to encourage embodied processing.
As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and MA in counselling psychology student under clinical supervision, I benefit from the peer and professional support I receive as a student practitioner. I’m based in Toronto and offer affordable virtual therapy across Canada. I hope you’ve found what you’re looking for, and I look forward to hearing from you!
