Get to know Marissa

Hi, I’m Marissa!

I’m glad you’re here! Reaching out for support can feel daunting, especially when life feels heavy or uncertain, but taking this step is an act of courage. As a therapist, I strive to offer a compassionate and supportive space where you can safely explore your emotions, experiences, and concerns. Whether you’re navigating change, struggling with self-worth, or coping with anxiety or depression, I’m here to walk beside you as you make sense of what you’re going through.

My therapeutic style is collaborative and client-centred, meaning your values, needs, and pace guide our work together. I believe healing unfolds when we approach ourselves with curiosity, presence, and care—and when we feel genuinely understood. I integrate evidence-based approaches with mindfulness and somatic practices, meeting you where you are with openness and warmth.

I warmly welcome individuals of all identities, backgrounds, and abilities, and I deeply honour the many ways people experience and understand the world. Therapy is a shared process where we combine your lived experience with my clinical training to create a personalized approach that supports you best. This work isn’t about changing who you are; it’s about reconnecting with yourself and building a life that feels more aligned.

I’d love to connect through a consultation to see whether we’re the right fit for one another.
