I’m a Student Counselling Intern completing my Master of Counselling Psychology at City University in Calgary. I work with adults experiencing stress, anxiety, workplace challenges, and periods of significant change. I have a particular interest in the transitions that can reshape our lives and identities, including becoming a parent, caring for aging parents, changing careers, and navigating older adulthood.
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent more than 15 years as a Chartered Accountant and finance professional. That experience gave me a firsthand understanding of demanding workplaces, career pressures, competing responsibilities, and the challenge of figuring out what comes next when life changes direction.
My approach to counselling is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe you bring important knowledge about your own life, while my role is to provide a supportive space to make sense of what you’re experiencing, recognize strengths that may be difficult to see when things feel overwhelming, and find practical ways forward. My goal is for you to feel genuinely heard and comfortable bringing your whole self into the room.
