Get to know Gladys

Hi, I’m Gladys

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) student passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, authenticity, and hope.

I strive to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. I believe that healing happens through connection, self-discovery, and the opportunity to safely explore our experiences, emotions, and relationships.

My approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, and integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), somatic-based approaches, and mindfulness-based interventions. Together, we work at a pace that feels comfortable for you while building practical tools and deeper self-understanding.

I have a special interest in supporting:

  • New and expecting mothers
  • Individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, and overwhelm
  • Grief, loss, and life transitions
  • Chronic illness and chronic pain
  • Families impacted by addiction
  • Self-esteem and personal growth

As a wife, mother, and first-generation Canadian, I understand the complexities of balancing multiple roles, navigating life’s transitions, and carrying responsibilities that can sometimes feel overwhelming. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for resilience, connection, and the importance of having a safe place to turn for support.

Seeking therapy is not a sign of weakness—it is an act of courage and self-care.

Whether you’re facing a difficult season, feeling stuck, or simply looking for a space to better understand yourself, I would be honoured to walk alongside you on your journey.

I provide:

  • Virtual Psychotherapy Across Ontario
  • Low-Cost & Pro Bono Services
  • Free Consultation Available
