As a qualifying registered psychotherapist, I am passionate about creating a compassionate, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel acknowledged, heard, and supported. I am currently completing my practicum as part of a master’s degree in counselling psychology from Yorkville University and am a student member of the Canadian Counselling Psychotherapy Association. I adopt a client-centered approach grounded in empathy, curiosity, and respect for each individual’s unique experiences.
With a 19-year background in education, I have established a robust foundation in active listening, collaboration, and strength-based approaches. I am particularly interested in supporting individuals who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, stress management, self-esteem, and addiction. My work is guided by evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and I continue to develop through supervision and ongoing training.
I believe that healing and growth can occur in a trusting, mutually respectful relationship, and I strive to co-create a therapeutic space where clients can explore challenges, build resilience, achieve personal growth, become empowered, and reconnect with their sense of purpose and inner strength.
Driven by a deep commitment to mental health, I actively engage in ongoing professional development and reflection to ensure that I deliver the highest standard of care. I view healing as a collaborative journey and partner with clients to support meaningful, lasting change.
