Starting counselling can feel like a big step, especially when you’re already feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of what needs to change. My goal is to create a space where you can talk openly, feel heard, and take things at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I’m a student counsellor completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. My style is warm, gentle, and collaborative. I tend to begin by listening and understanding what you’re experiencing before exploring patterns, emotions, or past experiences that may be influencing what is happening now.
I’m especially interested in working with people navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, self-esteem, relationship concerns, mood difficulties, and major life transitions. I’m also interested in the experiences of adolescents and young adults as they move through periods of change, identity development, and emerging adulthood.
I believe counselling is not about someone else telling you what to do. You know your life and experiences best. My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and encouragement as we work toward greater understanding and meaningful change.
