Hello!
My name is Alisha, and I’m so glad you’re here.
As an Indigenous woman, I understand struggles like addiction, unhealthy family dynamics, spiritual insecurity, depression, anxiety, insomnia, and self-harm. Having resources is crucial for one’s mental health. I want to help you be prepared for success when facing a distressing situation. I am currently employed at a women’s shelter to support women and children fleeing domestic violence. I assist the women in setting boundaries, navigating motherhood, and finding resources that will help them succeed outside the shelter.
I have also worked with Indigenous children and their families at a nearby agency. I worked closely with the children as a support advocate, while assisting the families with supports, appointments, and self-care.
With my work and life experience, I know we can find the right path for you in your journey.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out.
I hope we connect soon,
Alisha
