I am a student therapist completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, building on a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and many years of supporting people in health, sport, and community settings. My background as a personal trainer, volunteer counsellor, partner, and parent has shaped my understanding of stress, identity, relationships, and the pressures people carry throughout their lives.
My approach is person‑centred, emotion‑focused, trauma‑informed, and somatic. I offer a warm, steady, and non‑judgmental space where clients feel welcomed and supported. I value attunement and deep listening, and I work collaboratively to help clients reconnect with their strengths, needs, and inner resources. I also integrate mind‑body awareness, drawing on my experience in fitness and coaching to help clients understand how emotions and experiences show up physically.
I am especially drawn to supporting clients navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, emotional regulation, and performance‑related pressures in academic, athletic, or work settings. I believe healing happens through connection, and I feel honoured to walk alongside clients as they build insight, compassion, and a more grounded relationship with themselves.
