Hello! My name is Abigail (Abbey) Tablada, and I am currently completing my Master’s in Counselling Psychology (MACP). I believe that life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, but we are not meant to face them alone. My goal is to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you feel supported and truly heard.
My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative and person-centered, integrating various counselling methods like Narrative therapy, CBT and Solution-Focused Behavioural therapy, to meet your unique needs and goals. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, coping with stress, or seeking greater balance, I will work alongside you to explore what matters most and to reconnect with your strengths.
Alongside my training, I bring over five years of experience in the social services sector, including my current role as an outreach worker supporting individuals with mental health, learning disabilities, addictions, and housing challenges. These experiences have shaped the lens through which I view healing. One that honours resilience, dignity, and the complexity of each person’s story. If you’re looking for a supportive space to be heard and to discover new possibilities for change, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
