Get to know Faniole

My academic and professional journey has been shaped by a strong interest in well-being and mental health. After completing my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology, I spent three years contributing to training programs, workshops, and applied studies focused on workplace well-being and mental health, particularly among public servants. Wanting to provide more individualized support to people navigating professional, relational, and personal challenges, I am currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Ottawa. I offer psychotherapy to adults, youth and families in French and English under the license and supervision of Dr. Natalie Charron, C.Psych., at Integrative Healing Psychotherapy in-person in Ottawa and online across Ontario & Quebec.

When life feels overwhelming, uncertain, or disconnected, it can be difficult to know how to move forward. Fortunately, therapy can offer a safe and compassionate space to pause, make sense of your experiences, reconnect with yourself and your strengths, and take meaningful steps toward healing and growth at your own pace. You are more than your symptoms or the challenges you are facing.

I believe that behind symptoms and experiences of distress, there’s a unique story that deserves to be understood with gentleness and curiosity. By creating a safe, caring, and collaborative space, I strive to help clients make sense of their experiences, reconnect with themselves and others, and draw on their strengths to navigate life’s challenges.

I use an integrative approach that draws on psychodynamic, emotion-focused, trauma-informed mindfulness, and behavioural perspectives, all from an anti-oppressive lens. I tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs and goals, supporting concerns such as anxiety, depression, complex trauma, grief, burn-out, relationship issues, and workplace-related stress.
If you’re experiencing these concerns, I’d be happy to support you on your journey toward healing, greater self-awareness, resilience, self-compassion, and a stronger sense of agency. Book a free 30-minute video consultation to explore whether we’re a good fit.
