Lenise approaches counselling with warmth, empathy, and genuine curiosity about each person’s story. She recognizes that life can bring seasons of uncertainty, loss, change, and struggle, and believes that having a safe and supportive place to work through these experiences can be an important part of moving forward.
With 35 years of experience working within social and community settings, Lenise has supported individuals and families through a wide range of life circumstances. Her work over the past nine years has included supporting people experiencing addiction, trauma, recovery, and other significant challenges. She understands that no two journeys are the same and seeks to meet each client where they are, offering a space where they can speak openly, reflect on their experiences, and discover their own strengths and possibilities.
Lenise’s life experiences, including her background in business, marriage, parenting, and community involvement, have given her an appreciation for the many demands and responsibilities people carry. These experiences have shaped her belief in the importance of approaching each person with respect, compassion, and without judgment.
Lenise is completing her practicum at Evergreen Therapy as part of her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She feels privileged to walk alongside clients as they work through challenges, develop greater self-awareness, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives.
Lenise sees clients at two locations:
Southwood Professional Center, 202-2385 Pembina Highway, Winnipeg, R3T 2H4
Niverville Heritage Centre, 101 2nd Avenue, Niverville, R0A 0A1
