My name is Andrew and I am a Registered (Qualifying) Psychotherapist intern from Yorkville University. My goal is to provide you with a safe, collaborative, non-judgmental, and supportive space to explore your emotions, identity, strengths, and challenges.
I am happy to work with anyone who is looking to improve their mental health, using an integrative approach to best suit your needs, with an interest in emotionally focused therapy, and drawing from cognitive-behavioural approaches, DBT-informed strategies, and solution-focused interventions.
Through my own lived experience, I have developed a passion for providing affirming care for those in the LGBT+ community, including gender-diverse individuals, as well as neurodivergent clients. Along with my academic training, I bring volunteer experience at a local distress centre as a call responder. In my spare time, I enjoy strength training, writing poetry, and spending time with loved ones, including my cat.
I offer a complimentary session where we can get to know each other, discuss your goals for therapy, and determine if working together feels like the best fit for you.
