Hi, I’m Juliana. I’m a psychotherapist-in-training with a psychology degree from Brazil and about five years of experience supporting kids, teens, and adults. I offer therapy under supervision in both Portuguese and English.
You might be reaching out because life feels overwhelming or uncertain, or simply hard to navigate by yourself. These feelings can show up as anxiety, low mood, relationship stress, career or life transitions, grief, immigration experiences, or adjusting to a new culture or stage of life.
I approach therapy as a shared journey. Grounded in person-centred therapy, I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space that moves at your pace and aligns with your goals. I also bring in psychoanalytic perspectives to explore deeper patterns and the narratives we carry, and I share practical self-therapy tools so growth can continue between sessions. We’ll stay attentive to both your mind and body as we make sense of your emotions, behaviours, patterns, and strengths.
In real terms, that can look like slowing down to notice what’s present right now, linking current struggles to past themes when it’s useful, and trying small, doable experiments, reflection prompts, grounding practices, and other habits you can use on your own. Step by step, we’ll build resources for resilience, confidence, and balance, translating insight into meaningful day-to-day change.
I’ve navigated immigration and significant life and career transitions myself, and I bring genuine respect and sensitivity to your unique path.
If you’re looking for a space to feel heard, reflect, and reconnect with yourself, you’re welcome to book a free 20‑minute consultation to see whether my approach fits what you need.
