Get to know Wenyu

Hi, I’m Wenyu. Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when you’re carrying the weight of it alone. That’s why I’m here—to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to navigate challenges and embrace growth. I believe meaningful change happens when we feel truly heard and valued, and that’s the heart of my approach.

Through my work with families, students, and individuals of all ages, I’ve learned how patience, kindness, and balance can transform even the most difficult moments. Change can feel daunting, but with the right support, it becomes not only possible but deeply rewarding.

In our sessions, I strive to create a compassionate, grounded space where you can reflect, uncover your strengths, and find practical tools to meet your goals—whether that’s tackling immediate challenges or focusing on long-term well-being. My integrative approach combines evidence-based methods like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to build resilience, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) to nurture self-kindness, and Narrative Therapy (NT) to help you reframe your personal story in an empowering way.

I hold a Master of Education from the University of Hong Kong and am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. This blend of academic training and hands-on experience allows me to combine research-backed techniques with practical insights tailored to your unique journey.

Outside of therapy, I recharge through cooking and yoga, which help me stay balanced and energized. I’m passionate about ongoing learning—whether through training, research, or new perspectives—and I bring this curiosity and growth mindset to every session.

Taking the first step toward change can feel big, but you don’t have to do it alone. I offer a free 15-minute consultation where we can connect, explore your needs, and see if we’re the right fit to work together. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your path to growth and well-being.
