Get to know Vanessa

Hi, I’m Vanessa Parrotta, a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology student at Yorkville University. I’m passionate about creating a safe, welcoming space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges without judgment. I believe in a collaborative approach, working alongside you to identify goals and strategies that fit your unique needs. My interests include supporting people as they navigate life transitions, relationship dynamics, and self-growth, and I am particularly curious about how stress, money, and personal values intersect with mental health. I aim to help clients build self-awareness, confidence, and practical tools to improve their well-being. Outside of my studies, I enjoy learning from different cultures and perspectives, which informs the empathetic and open-minded approach I bring to therapy.
