About Me
Hi, I’m Terri Marks, a student therapist who’s here to help you navigate life’s ups and downs. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward, you don’t have to go through it alone—I’m here to walk alongside you as we figure things out together.
I work primarily with women who are juggling a lot—careers, relationships, family, and everything in between. Maybe you’re feeling the pressure of being “everything to everyone,” or perhaps you’re searching for more balance and fulfillment in your life. Whatever you’re going through, my goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and truly seen.
My therapy style is relational and strength-based. That means I believe that healing happens in the context of connection—both with others and with yourself. Together, we’ll explore your strengths, uncover what’s holding you back, and work toward meaningful change. I also like to incorporate mindfulness tools, which can help you feel more present and grounded, especially when life feels chaotic.
As a student therapist, I understand that going to therapy can feel like a big step, especially if cost is a concern. That’s why I offer both regular and sliding scale rates to make counseling more affordable and accessible. You can meet with me online from anywhere in Ontario in the confort of your home or in person in my lovely downtown Toronto office, whichever works best for you and your lifestyle.
Therapy isn’t about having everything figured out before you start—it’s about giving yourself permission to begin where you are. If you’re ready to take that step, I’d love to support you. Let’s work together to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to the life you want.
Feel free to reach out if you have questions or want to book a free consultation. I’d be honored to walk this journey with you.
Warmly,
Terri
