Hello! Aaniin! Bonjour!
Whether you are feeling low, anxious, or having a hard time adjusting to changes in life—whether those changes feel big or small-I welcome you into my virtual office. I provide a safe, respectful and affirming place where you can be yourself and talk about what matters most to you. I am a queer person, Settler Canadian and a single Mom. I have a special interest in working with the LGBTQ population. Every session is rooted in respect, kindness, and a belief in your worth. Whether you’re looking for a spiritual approach or something more down-to-earth, we’ll find what fits best for you.
I have experience helping people through life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression as well as the emotional ups and downs around pregnancy/parenting and life. No matter what you’re going through, I’m here to help you uncover your strengths and move forward.
I’m a clear communicator and a creative problem-solver. I’ll help you make sense of what’s going on and figure out ways to feel better. I also utilize CBT and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), which can help you discover your own irrational attitudes and beliefs and empower you to change them for better emotional and behavioural health, in addition to other cognitive, humanistic, or psychodynamic approaches. We will always choose the tools that suit you best—because this is your journey, and it should reflect who you are.
As a Settler Canadian, my approach is guided by Two-Eyed Seeing—a way of blending Indigenous and Western ways of understanding and supporting mental health. This means I value traditional healing as well as modern, research-based tools. I welcome both spiritual and non-spiritual approaches, depending on what feels right for you.
While I incorporate my trainings and knowledge to our sessions, you are the expert in your own life. I don’t see you as a list of symptoms, and I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all method. Instead, I focus on working together in a respectful, evidence-based, open-minded way to find what truly helps you.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you. You’re welcome to book an appointment or reach out for a free consultation to see if we’re a good fit.

Student therapists meet entry-to-practice standards of qualification (example from Ontario). Student therapists may be focusing their learning on treating a specific population, issue or use of a specific type of therapy.
Practitioners listed in this directory may come from a variety of academic institutions, credentialing bodies, and experience levels, from across Canada. Requirements to practice psychotherapy vary from province to province. Some provinces regulate the title of counsellors, others regulate the act of psychotherapy, and some do neither. This directory is limited to those going through an accredited Master’s level counselling program in Canada. Find a Student Therapist does it’s best to verify credentials of listed therapists, however it does not guarantee the quality, credentials, or qualification to practice, of individual student psychotherapists. It does not endorse or recommend any of the listed therapists. It is the responsibility of each user to ascertain if any individual student therapist meets their needs and is qualified to practice in your area. By using this directory you are agreeing to our Terms of Use and Privacy.
