I am a master’s level MA in Counselling Psychology practicum student qualified to practice at the Atlantic Muslim Resource Center under the clinical supervision of Hanaa Rashid, MEd, MSW, RSW.
With a background as a clinical pharmacist and versatile experience in healthcare, I bring a multi-lens perspective to my practice. My passion for helping others drives me to provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to your unique needs. I work with individuals, couples, and families, utilizing several culturally sensitive therapeutic modalities.
I understand that seeking support can be challenging. You may be grappling with feelings of burnout, hopelessness, or unsettling emotions and thoughts. Life transitions, such as moving to a new country, changing jobs, or coping with significant stressors, can leave you feeling overwhelmed. Additionally, experiences of trauma, family conflict, addiction, or mental health issues like depression can feel isolating and difficult to navigate.
I’m here to help you explore your path to healing and well-being. If you find yourself feeling lost, facing emotional turmoil, or navigating the pressures of life—whether from trauma, relationship dynamics, or mental health challenges—I’m here to listen and support you. You don’t have to navigate this alone. Together, we can find a way forward.
