Olivia is a psychotherapy intern currently completing the Master of Education in Counselling Psychology (MEd) degree at the University of Toronto. She also holds a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology (BA Hons) from York University, graduating at the top of her class. Alongside her clinical training, she has also conducted research on the role of social media in body image and eating behaviours and has an extensive background in competitive sports coaching, providing her with an acute understanding of the mind-body connection. Olivia also has a background in Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and family dynamics, as well as experience supporting both youth and adult populations in crisis. She has held several leadership positions within community mental health and currently serves in a supervisory position at the Distress Centres of Greater Toronto and a teaching position at Kids Help Phone.
Olivia integrates her various clinical, research, and leadership experiences to provide you with a holistic treatment. She holds an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and sex-positive stance and welcomes clients of all genders, sexual orientations and relationship configurations to her practice. She strives to provide affirming, inclusive and affordable care, offering sessions at just $80 per session (with 2 sliding spots available).
