Get to know Olivia

Do you feel weighed down by anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or self-doubt? Maybe school pressures, work stress, or life transitions have left you feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Perfectionism, identity struggles, or constantly comparing yourself to others can make it even harder to move forward. If this sounds familiar, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Reaching out can feel intimidating, but it’s also a powerful first step toward change.

I work with students, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts/OCD, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. In our sessions, you’ll find a safe and supportive space to explore your experiences without judgment. Together, we’ll build practical tools—like reframing negative thoughts, managing triggers, practicing mindfulness, and regulating emotions—that you can bring into daily life. Over time, these strategies can help ease symptoms, boost confidence, and reconnect you with what matters most.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and personalized to your needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based practices, and psychodynamic approaches. This means we may work on shifting unhelpful patterns (CBT), learning to make room for difficult feelings while moving toward your values (ACT), exploring how past experiences affect the present (psychodynamic), or practicing mindfulness to feel calmer and more present. I’ll adapt each session so therapy feels relevant, practical, and empowering.

As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I am completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology under the supervision of experienced clinicians. This means you receive therapy that is both affordable and supported by additional oversight to ensure high-quality care.

I believe everyone is worthy of compassion and capable of growth. Starting therapy is a brave step, and I would be honoured to walk alongside you on your journey. I offer in-person sessions in Barrie and Newmarket, as well as virtual and phone sessions across Ontario. If you’re ready, I invite you to book a free 15-minute consultation so we can see if we’re a good fit.
