I bring a rich tapestry of personal and professional experiences that inform my holistic approach to helping you achieve balance in mind, body, and spirit.
Having lived on three continents and visited all but one, I have developed a deep appreciation for diverse worldviews, which significantly informs my practice. As a third-culture kid, immigrant, and expat, I bring a unique and compassionate understanding of the challenges surrounding identity, intergenerational, systemic, and cultural trauma, and acculturative stress.
As a mother of a toddler, tween, and teen, I understand how parenting can alter our sense of self, as well as our relationships with our partners and the world around us. I help parents navigate and support the various transitions and struggles that may arise within themselves and their family unit.
As a woman who is deeply connected to her roots and committed to her journey of self-discovery, I am passionate about assisting you in living a life of meaning and purpose. My approach emphasizes your inner strength and resources while also encouraging reflection and exploration, improving coping strategies, and incorporating your interests, such as art and writing, to create an authentic personal narrative.
I offer therapy in both English and Urdu and strive to support you from an intersectional, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive perspective. I believe that therapy should be an illuminating and collaborative process, and my commitment is that you feel supported, seen, and empowered as we work together.
To see if we align, I invite you to schedule a 15-minute free and no-obligation consultation.
