Get to know Nicole

I support individuals and couples who want to understand their anxiety, stress, relationship, or emotional overwhelm in a deeper way, and who are looking for a therapist that moves at a thoughtful, respectful pace.

My approaches are trauma-informed, focusing on women’s issues, panic, anxiety, chronic stress, and the ways emotional overwhelm can show up in the body—including chronic pain and autoimmune conditions. I believe the patterns people often struggle with—self-doubt, constant worry, people-pleasing, feeling stuck or unmotivated—are not flaws, but intelligent responses shaped by past experiences. In our work together, we’ll approach these patterns with curiosity and compassion, rather than judgment.

Although I am currently completing my practicum, my approach as a therapist is informed by many years of experience as a professional mind-body coach, educator, and yoga teacher. I have extensive training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Somatic Experiencing—two trauma-sensitive modalities that integrate working with the nervous system, and go beyond just ‘thinking your way out’ of a problem. I also serve as a trainer supporting therapists in IFS Level 1 trainings, which keeps me deeply engaged with the model and continually refining my skills.

Clients often describe my approach as calm, attuned, and collaborative. I aim to create a space where you can slow things down, listen to your inner experience, and begin to feel more grounded and at ease in yourself. If you’re looking to build a safer relationship with your emotions, your body, and your boundaries, I would be honoured to support you in that process.

Starting therapy—especially with a student therapist—can raise questions or uncertainty. I welcome those conversations and want you to feel informed and supported every step of the way. When you’re ready, I invite you to reach out to see if we’re a good fit. Free 30-minute consultations are available.
