Get to know Melia

I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) at Psychotherapy in the City in Toronto, ON. Over the past decade, I’ve worked across different areas of mental health, including crisis support, youth mentorship, and community-based care. These experiences have taught me that healing is never one-size-fits-all, and that each person’s story deserves to be understood on its own terms.

As an immigrant woman, I hold a special passion for working with clients navigating cultural identity, belonging, and the weight of expectations. I know how deeply these experiences can shape us, and I bring both professional training and lived understanding to support you in exploring them.

At Psychotherapy in the City, I offer individual therapy with the first session free, and ongoing sessions at $80. Whether you’re processing past experiences, seeking new perspectives, or simply wanting a space to pause and reflect, I’d be honoured to work with you on your journey toward healing and growth.
