Get to know Kimi

Kimi is one of the kindest person you will ever meet. As a lifelong learner she welcomes new ideas and perspectives. She is keen to jump in and meet others in their passions and interests.

Kimi is currently pursuing a Master’s of Social Work at York University. She works collaboratively with young people from diverse backgrounds, using a culturally-informed, strength-based, anti-racist, relational, and narrative therapy approach. Kimi is committed to a lifelong journey of practicing cultural humility and aims to bring empathy, self-awareness, passion, and curiosity to her work in building meaningful connections with young people. She believes that every young person has the creativity and resilience to empower themselves, drawing on their existing strengths, knowledge, tools, and support systems to thrive and navigate life’s challenges.
