Joshua is a Master of Social Work (MSW) graduate intern from Wilfrid Laurier University, currently completing his practicum with Ripple Effect Services. Ripple offers neuroscience-informed counselling that supports individuals in building insight, strengthening their sense of safety and connection, and navigating life’s challenges with greater clarity.
Joshua brings a strong background in mental health, addictions, and youth justice, along with experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and communities.
He is passionate about trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and relational approaches to care, and is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive space where individuals feel seen, respected, and empowered in their healing and growth.
Outside of his professional life, Joshua enjoys hiking with his family dog, staying active at the gym, and rewatching his favourite shows.
