Choosing a therapist to accompany you on your path can sometimes feel overwhelming. I’m happy for the opportunity to tell you a bit about myself, so that you can make the best choice based on your individual needs.
My educational foundation is in social justice and gender studies. Since completing my undergraduate degree at King’s University College, I worked for ten years as an LGBTQ+ program facilitator, a mental wellness case manager, and a crisis line counsellor for children, youth, and young adults. I’ve really enjoyed approaching these roles using a framework that is grounded in anti-oppressive practice, and trauma-informed perspectives.
I’m particularly passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent individuals, and bring lived experience to my work with these communities.
In our work together, I’m here to meet you where you’re at; all parts of you will be welcomed with compassion and understanding. I look forward to learning what is important to you, and learning your stories, your strengths, and your goals.
I believe that mental health symptoms are often clues that emerge when something is out of balance in our lives and/or in our inner world. I also believe that every individual holds innate wisdom that is critical to their healing journey. My hope is that by providing an empathetic and affirming environment, we can tune in together to this innate wisdom.
I’m currently completing my Master’s of Counselling and Psychotherapy at Athabasca University. While I complete my counselling practicum at Blueprint Counselling, I am clinically supervised by Jared Dalton and am able to offer counselling at a reduced cost. I offer in-person sessions in London Ontario and virtual sessions across Ontario. If you feel we may be a good fit, I would be delighted to offer a free consultation.

Requirements to practice psychotherapy vary from province to province. Some provinces regulate the title of counsellors, others regulate the act of psychotherapy, and some do neither. This directory is limited to those going through an accredited Master’s level counselling program in Canada. It does not endorse or recommend any of the listed therapists. It is the responsibility of each user to ascertain if any individual student therapist meets their needs and is qualified to practice in your area.
