Welcome, reaching out for support is such a courageous decision to make. As an MA in Counselling Psychology practicum student, who is qualified to practice under supervision, I will hold space for you and your pain—no one should have to suffer alone, and everyone deserves to feel supported, heard, seen, and valued. I can hold the struggles that come with personal growth and healing and work to providing a compassionate, nonjudgmental space for you to explore your past, gain insight into your present, and move toward meaningful change.
My approach to therapy is deeply rooted in psychodynamic principles, where we explore how past experiences continue to shape your current thoughts, behaviours, and emotional responses. In addition to this, I utilize a strengths-based approach, which focuses on identifying and building upon your innate strengths to overcome obstacles and create lasting change. I also integrate parts work, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused therapy. Through these approaches, we work collaboratively to help you feel empowered, helping you grow in a way that’s aligned with your unique strengths.
I specialize in helping individuals move through and integrate grief and loss. In addition, I work with those navigating significant life transitions, whether it’s shifting careers, managing relationship changes, or adapting to new life phases. Additionally, I can help those experiencing burnout and anxiety and provide support to manage overwhelming emotions and uncover the underlying causes of persistent feelings of fear.
I support clients healing from trauma, help process past wounds, hold their impact, and move toward integration and healing. I provide both in person and virtual therapy sessions to ensure you have access to the support you need and offer a free 50 minute consultation to ensure we’re the right fit to allow you to feel confident moving forward.
