Get to know Jason

Hi, I’m Jason. I am a therapist-in-training with nearly twenty years of experience as a high school teacher. Working with young people and their families for so long has given me a deep understanding of the emotions, pressures, and relationships that shape daily life. Those years in education taught me that meaningful change often begins when someone finally feels understood and supported, and that belief guides my work in therapy.

I aim to create a calm, welcoming space where clients can bring their full selves, including the parts they show the world and the parts they often hide. Whether I am helping a child manage big feelings, supporting a teen through anxiety or identity challenges, or working with parents to rebuild connection, my approach is grounded in curiosity, empathy, and collaboration.

I have a particular passion for supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD. Many of my clients feel like they have spent their lives trying to fit into systems that were not designed for them. Together, we explore strategies that celebrate their strengths, nurture self-acceptance, and promote confidence.

Above all, I believe that growth happens in relationship. It is an honour to walk alongside my clients as they navigate change, healing, and self-discovery.
