Get to know Ivania

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, I work collaboratively with you to support meaningful, sustainable change. I offer a grounded, compassionate presence and a trauma-informed approach to help you make sense of what you’re feeling and move toward healing. My approach integrates talk therapy with body-based methods, including Brainspotting, to help you connect with your inner resources, build resilience, and move forward at a pace that feels safe and empowering. My practice is shaped by a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, grief support, and crisis intervention. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I supported individuals through grief and trauma in various community settings—facilitating peer support groups, offering mental health crisis support, and contributing to grief education. These experiences inform my commitment to holding space with sensitivity, honouring each client’s unique story, and helping them reconnect with the body as a source of strength and healing.
