Get to know Isobel

I am a therapist-in-training in my second year of the Masters of Psychotherapy program at the University of Guelph. My background in theatre, philosophy, and social justice grounds my creative thinking, and I strive to always work from an anti-oppressive, collaborative, and strengths-based approach. I’m especially enthusiastic about supporting fellow queer people, supporting those who are looking to have a more compassionate relationship with themselves and others, and those who are searching for greater meaning, joy, and authenticity in their lives.

As your therapist, I will listen to you carefully, and ask you thoughtful questions.  I draw on narrative, relational, solution-focussed, and somatic techniques to explore the nuances of your experience. Together, we can work to shine a gentle light on parts of yourself that you have yet to discover!
