Hey! I’m Gajany and I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) working at Nova Phoenix as well as a student currently working towards completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. As someone who has sat in both chairs in the therapist’s office, I understand how scary it can be to open up and be vulnerable. I recognize how our lived experiences intertwine with our identity and relationships and acknowledge that embarking on change can be intimidating as it entails embracing new experiences, being vulnerable, and can have its challenges. With empathy and respect, I hope to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel affirmed, heard, and encouraged to be who you are as you take those pivotal first steps toward personal growth. Whether you’re going through grief, trauma, relationship issues, or everyday stress, I am commited to supporting you and ensuring that you don’t go through this journey alone. A little bit about my practice: I take on an eclectic approach using an anti-oppressive and trauma-informed lens. I firmly believe that sessions and interventions should be tailored toward the person and their goals. When it comes to therapy, finding a therapist who is the right match is one of the most important components of therapy as a strong therapeutic alliance is the foundation of our sessions. Please feel free to contact me for a consultation to see if we’re a good fit!

It does not endorse or recommend any of the listed therapists.
