Get to know Fiona

As a therapist, my approach is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and a deep respect for your lived experience. I offer client-centered care that draws from strengths-based and trauma-informed modalities, working with you to build a therapy plan that reflects your values, goals, and vision of wellness. My priority is to foster a space where you feel safe, seen, and empowered to be your authentic self.

I support individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, life transitions, and relationship concerns. No matter what brings you to therapy, I aim to help you deepen your self-awareness and develop practical strategies that build resilience and promote healing.

My academic background includes a BSc in Psychology from the University of Toronto and an MA in Anthropology from McMaster University. I am currently completing an MA in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and am qualified to provide psychotherapy as a supervised intern.

Before entering the field of mental health, I worked in the private sector and later transitioned to social services. My experience includes one year as a mental-health crisis responder and four years in employment and career counselling. These diverse professional experiences, along with my personal mental wellness journey, inform my practice and allow me to offer grounded, reflective, and holistic support.
