I approach psychotherapy with compassion and a client-centered focus, utilizing evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. As I pursue my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, I draw on over ten years of experience working with children, youth, and families dealing with challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, and aggression.
I aim to provide a safe, empathetic space where clients feel understood and supported. My approach is tailored to the individual needs of each person I work with. When working with children, I incorporate creative techniques such as art and play to help them express emotions naturally and develop resilience. With parents, I collaborate to create strategies that strengthen family relationships and support their children’s mental health. I also work closely with couples, particularly those facing parenting challenges, offering tools to improve communication, deepen their connection, and build a stable foundation for their family’s well-being.
My practice is rooted in trauma-informed care, ensuring that each client’s unique journey is met with respect and understanding. Through a combination of compassion and evidence-based techniques, I support individuals, couples, and families in achieving personal growth, healing, and emotional wellness.
