Get to know Emilie

Not everything that feels heavy is easy to explain and that’s okay.

Sometimes it shows up as tension in your relationships, irritability, or a quiet sense that something just feels “off.” You may be holding a lot more than others can see, getting through the day while wondering when things will feel lighter. Whatever you’re carrying—clear or unclear—you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Hi, I’m Emilie, a student therapist here to support you through whatever brings you in.

My approach is down-to-earth, collaborative, and non-judgmental. Therapy with me isn’t meant to feel intimidating or overly clinical. I aim to create a space where you can show up as you are and move at your own pace. Feeling comfortable with your therapist matters, and I prioritize building that fit together.

I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. As a Gottman Level 1 & 2 trained couples counsellor, I support partners in understanding their patterns and finding ways to shift them in meaningful, lasting ways.

I also have certification in perinatal mental health, supporting clients through fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and loss. These experiences can feel isolating or overwhelming, and you don’t have to go through them alone.

Alongside this, I bring a personal understanding of military and first responder life, and the unique stressors that can come with it.

You don’t need the right words or a clear starting point, just a place to begin. I’m here when you’re ready.
