Get to know Caitlin

Caitlin holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Neuroscience and a Minor in Biology from Wilfrid Laurier University. She is currently completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University. She is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

Ever since she can remember she has had a passion for helping others, which has led her to pursue a career in the mental health field. Caitlin plans to use her empathetic nature in her work to support her clients through their concerns. Whether that might be anxiety, depression, general stress, life transitions, motivation, or self-esteem issues. Caitlin has a strong interest in working with children and adolescents. Caitlin plans to have an eclectic approach using techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness to meet the individual needs of her clients. Caitlin intends to explore the needs of each client, and use a collaborative approach to determine what is best for the client’s therapeutic journey while providing a non-judgemental and supportive environment. Caitlin hopes to help her clients foster a greater sense of self and self-growth in their counselling journey. She hopes to provide her clients with the tools they’ll need to navigate life challenges. Caitlin enjoys engaging in fitness activities, time with her family, and attending concerts.
