** Inquire with the student therapist about your options for therapy after their end date.
I am an Expressive Arts Therapist in training at the CREATE Institute. I come to therapy through the arts. After working for several decades as a dance artist and movement educator, I earned an MFA in dance, focusing on improvisation and collaboration. I am deeply interested in the choreography of our lives—the ways we can notice and work with the places where we get tangled, and how we can move with greater freedom and ease.
Through my studies and practicum at the CREATE Institute, I have gained experience working with individuals who have experienced domestic violence, complex grief and bereavement, intergenerational trauma, relationship issues, isolation, marginalization, neurodivergence, anxiety, and depression. I have worked with people ranging in age from 7 to 90.
My practice is also informed by my experience as a person of mixed heritage. In addition to my studies at CREATE, I am a student of decolonization, exploring anti-oppression, trauma-informed practices, and the reclamation and remembering of culture through organizations and collectives such as Dodem Kanonhsa, the Center for Babaylan Studies, New Leaf, and Magandang Gana.
I am open to working with anyone who feels called to therapy and I have a special interest in working with individuals who identify as neurodivergent, caregivers, mixed identity/IBPOC/PGM, and those focused on remembering and reclaiming culture, as well as those navigating self-worth and intergenerational trauma/resilience.
I use both she and they pronouns. Feel free to contact me for a free 15 minute consult to see if we might be a good fit. If contacting the student clinic directly please ask for me by name.
