Get to know Allison

Challenges in life can be difficult to navigate. Sometimes extremely difficult. I’ve worked as an Intensive Care Nurse for 10 years, and I’ve learned that human suffering can take on many forms. I use my nursing background and experience to help clients who are first responders, front line workers, or clients who are experiencing medical trauma.

I am in my final year of completing my master’s level MA in Counselling and Psychology at Yorkville University. I am qualified to practice at Seasons Psychotherapy under the clinical supervision of an approved practicum supervisor.

I primarily use Humanistic and Compassion-Focused approach with Compassionate Inquiry techniques. I also use CBT, Solution-Focused and Gestalt therapy techniques.
(Pending: Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal Theory)

Through Seasons Psychotherapy, I will find an approach that works for you!
