Hi, I’m Alanna. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and a practicum student in the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University, offering therapy under clinical supervision as I complete the final steps of my graduate training.
My background includes hospice and grief facilitation, burnout, and relational concerns. My aim is to create a space where all parts of you and your experiences are welcome. I support individuals navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and relational issues (whether those issues are with your loved ones, friends, colleagues, or even larger systemic challenges).
I hope to support you in navigating life’s challenges while also honouring your story and strengths. My work is trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, intersectional, sex-positive, neurodivergent-affirming, and LGBTQ2S+ inclusive. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I integrate humanistic, psychodynamic, narrative, and somatic methods to support your unique needs, always centering care, collaboration, and curiosity.
I look forward to finding out how I can help you on your journey. If you’re curious, I invite you to book a free 30-minute consultation to see if this space feels right for you.
